Burn Permits Suspended Until Further Notice
All previously issued Burn Permits have been suspended and no new Burn Permits will be issued effective 4/15/2020.

Notice of Independent Mail Ballot Election
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a regular election of the Colorado River Fire Protection District shall be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. untill 7:00p.m. ("Election"). The Election is being conducted as an independent mail ballot election. Mail ballots will be mailed to eligible electors between 22 and 15 days prior to the election date.

CRFR Approves Resolution for Remote / Phone-In Meetings
In keeping with CRFR\'s Mission Statement "We are dedicated to protecting life, home, and property through leadership, education, and partnerships", the Board of Directors approved a resolution to Establish an Electronic Board Meeting Policy During the COVID-19 Pandemic. This resolution keeps Colorado River Fire Protection District in line with Governor Polis\' various directives surrounding social distancing and keeping the number of people in close proximity to less than 10 people.
CRFR COVID 19 Declaration of Local Emergency Disaster
Colorado River Fire Rescue has adopted a Declaration of a Local Emergency Disaster for the COVID 19 outbreak. Fire Chief Randy Callahan signed the declaration on March 19th and the CRFR Board of Directors voted to continue it during a March 24th special board of directors meeting. The declaration will remain in place for the duration of the COVID 19 outbreak.
